I must admit that I have not always been diligent in maintaining equipment properly. For about twenty years, spring was the time I paid the penalty for pushing the mower into the shed and just forgetting it for the winter. The following spring, the poor, neglected mower would not even cough enthusiastically while I induced a near coronary, ranted raved, and wasted precious time trying to get it to start and run.
