Print this story The Silver Needles Quilt Guild will have its annual luncheon, quilt exhibit and auction Oct. 19 at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Roach and Beloit. Doors open at 11 a.m. for viewing of the quilt, and the auction begins at 1 p.m. All tickets for the lunch have been sold, according to Janda Allred. Leadell Ediger will auction items for the annual fundraiser. Tickets for an opportunity quilt will be available. Proceeds will be used to help Silver Needles provide quilts to charitable organizations and provide programs to share quilting and quilt history with the community. There is no charge to attend the auction or to view the quilts. |
