Print this story Abilene chamber having contest to choose new logo
ABILENE -- The Abilene Area Chamber of Commerce is having a contest to choose a new logo to replace the one that has been in use for 15 years. The person who submits the winning design will receive $100 in cash and be publicly recognized. Designs should be submitted to the chamber by Nov. 1, and they should comply with the following: the chamber name should be included; the logo should be immediately identifiable, simple and clear; it should convey the goals and spirit of the chamber, while looking to the future of Abilene; it must be original and distinctive; it should not offend other groups; and it must consist of original artwork, free of copyrights.
