She is an excellent mother,wife and friend. Tiffany is a relative of mine and there is NO way that she is responsible for this child's condition. I hope that when this is all said and done and she is proven INNOCENT, that she looks into filing charges for slander, and that the state looks into the parents of this child and leave the daycare providers alone. Have you ever stopped to question the parents when sometimes a child is in better care with the childcare provider than they are with the parents. There's lots of bad daycare and there are lots of bad parents. It's a two way street. Maybe this child was already injured before he came to daycare! There are two side to every story. This child care provider is innocent until proven guilty. So don't point your fingers yet until you know the truth! 5/14/2008 Child Care? says.... Whats wrong with these day care providers? Print this story A Salina child care provider whose license was suspended by the state last week was arrested Monday in connection with injuries suffered by an 8-month-old boy. Tiffany L. Axelson, 24, 107 Hays Court, made her first appearance Monday in Saline County District Court on charges of child abuse and aggravated battery. Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield said Axelson called emergency crews about 4 p.m. April 28 to report that a boy in her care was unresponsive, but breathing. The child is not Axelson’s, he said. The boy was taken by ambulance to Salina Regional Health Center, then flown to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He since has been released. Mansfield said the boy suffered head injuries that were consistent with being shaken.
